IOWA'S SENSUOUS CZECH VISIONARY,
SISTER KASI

Dear Sister Kasi,

I am in love with a beautiful boy, but I think he has a fetish for my pants. He wears them every chance he gets. So far as I know this has not spilled over into other categories of my wardrobe, but should I be concerned?

     Forever in (my) blue jeans

     Dear Blue Jeans,

Don't be concerned. It is simply a metaphoric manifestation of his desire to "get into your pants", as the boys say. Clothes absorb residue from a person's aura, and by wearing you clothes he is wrapping himself in that residual energy and essence of you even when you are apart. If he begins to absorb this energy and exhibit your personality traits, or attempts to impersonate you, or even begins to believe he is you, then you have a problem.

     Sister Kasi,

Is there a way to kill a person, but ensure that their soul goes to Heaven?

     Anonymous in Waterloo

     Dear Anonymous,

An excellent question and a nice sentiment. Given that there are many who would prefer to take murder one step beyond simple removal from the material plane to an eternity of torture in the infernal realms, your desire is unusual. I cannot divine, however, whether it stems from a desire to lessen any guilt you might feel or to make sure your victim isn't waiting in hell for your arrival. In answer to your question, there are a lot of ways to kill a person (and I do not advocate this activity!!), but there is no way to guarantee where the soul will travel to once it has been dispatched. They do say that all children go to heaven; so the murder of a child might accomplish this goal as a purely intellectual exercise. I should warn you, however, that although you sent this letter anonymously, I have successfully remote viewed you and will be keeping tabs on you. You will not be able to commit this act you are considering without my knowing about it and I will be able to direct the authorities to enough evidence to make the remainder of your life on earth as unpleasant as you can imagine. Or were you thinking of using this method on yourself and beating the customary punishment for suicide? Sorry, not a chance.

     Dear Learned Sister,

I am interested in magic, but am concerned about the symbols like the

Pentagram clashing with my Christian background...are witches necessarily Satanists?

     Not Wicked in Tama

     Dear Not Wicked,

The Pentagram, a five pointed star, is not Satanic. Like many symbols, including the Swastika, this image has different meanings associated with it than those most commonly recognized. Pythagoras used it as a symbol of health and his followers wore them in order to recognize each other. Christian knights sometimes used the Pentagram as their symbol. The points correspond to the elements Air, Earth, Fire, and Water with the top point corresponding to "Spirit". Used in a circle it may represent a human with their legs and arms outstretched, surrounded by universal wisdom. Satanists, and you may have noticed that it is used by the Order of the Eastern Star---prominently displayed on many Masonic Lodges, usually turn the symbol upside-down, which puts the elements of Fire and Earth at the top (Fire symbolizes willpower and passion and Earth, prosperity and earthly goods) and Spirit, spirituality, at the bottom. To a Christian, this represents an inversion of values. Witches, generally, are practitioners of a nature-based religion which recognizes the feminine in divinity and follows the seasonal cycles. A Witch believes that the divine exists within his or herself as well as

without, and therefore feels a direct connection with the God/Goddess self. Witches share in a loosely structured system of beliefs largely known as "Wicca". It is up to you to decide if these tenets are in conflict with your own beliefs
