ROBERT FULTON
There are only three known references to a child named Robert: one in the obituary for James Fulton (Gen. 4) to a brother Robert who was still living in Ohio in 1880; a reference to four sons of James Fulton (Gen. 3) and Ann Christopher Fulton in Alexander Robert Fulton's biography, published in the "Western Life-Boat", Vol. 1, parts 4 & 5, 1873; and the third in a letter from Charles Jacobs Fulton [generation 6] to Mrs. Cleora Fulton Payzant, the daughter of John Immel Fulton [generation 5],in which he is giving her genealogical information:
'I'm uncertain about the children [of James and Ann Christopher Fulton]. I know there were five, and there may have been more. Those I am sure of were James, William, Alexander, Robert and Ann'.
