WILL OF JOHN IMMEL

Be it known that John Immel of the Twp of Green, in the County of Ross and state of Ohio, being in a low feeble state of body but of sound mind and memory, did, on the 21 September, 1834, call upon the undersigned, Daniel McCollister and Basel Steel and John Grimes to hear testimony of his will which he did then and there pronounce and declare as follows to wit:

I do hereby constitute my dear wife, Nancy Immel to be sole executor as long as she remains my widow.
I wish in the first place that the said NANCY IMMEL to pay all my just debts. I also wish that the said NANCY IMMEL to pay for the land on which we live, if (it) should be so that the said NANCY IMMEL cannot make the payment on the land which she resides on, the said NANCY IMMEL SHALL have full power to barter or trade for land as the said NANCY IMMEL May need to keep her children together. The said NANCY IMMEL shall have power to keep or dispose of my personal estate as she may think best,

which said will was reduced to writing by the David McCollister in the presence of the said Basel Steel and John Grimes and by us subscribed this 30 day of September,1834.

John Michael Immel died on the 23th of September,1834, just two days after making his will.
