  1. JAMES FULTON (Gen 4) was born 5 November 1799, in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, the second child of JAMES (Gen. 3) and ANN CHRISTOPHER FULTON.

  2. In 1807, JAMES FULTON (Gen. 4) moved to Baltimore, Maryland with his parents, JAMES (Gen. 3) and ANN CHRISTOPHER FULTON, his sister, ANNA NANCY and his brother, ALEXANDER.

  3. In 1814, JAMES FULTON (Gen. 4) moved to Ross County, Ohio, near Chillicothe with his parents, JAMES (Gen. 3) and ANN CHRISTOPHER FULTON, his sister ANNA NANCY and his brother, ALEXANDER.

  4. In 1824, JAMES FULTON (Gen. 4) married REBECCA GREEN near Chillicothe, Ohio, exact date unknown.

  5. JAMES (Gen. 4) and REBECCA GREEN FULTON were the parents of eleven children, all of whom were born in Ross County, Ohio.

  6. In 1850, JAMES (Gen. 4) and REBECCA GREEN FULTON, along with at least five of their chidren: JOHN IGNATIUS, RACHEL ANN, REBECCA ANN, SARAH E. and JAMES IMMELL, moved to Iowa, northwest of Fairfied making the trip by covered wagon. It is thought that ALEXANDER ROBERT FULTON remained in Ohio with his grandmother, ANN CHRISTOPHER FULTON and his aunt, ANNA NANCY FULTON IMMELL. It is uncertain whether ANDREW, ELLENEOR, ORLANDO, CHARLES D. and ROBERT made the trip. This family settled near JAMES FULTON'S (Gen. 4) older brother WILLIAM FULTON, who had moved to Iowa earlier.

  7. In 1868, JAMES (Gen. 4) and REBECCA GREEN FULTON, along with their son, JAMES IMMELL FULTON and JAMES IMMELL FULTON'S wife, LUCETTA FUNKHOUSER FULTON, moved to Glasgow, Iowa.

  8. JAMES FULTON (Gen. 4) was a farmer.

  9. JAMES FULTON (Gen. 4) died 29 January 1880 near Fairfield, Iowa and is buried beside his wife, REBECCA GREEN FULTON in the OldFairfield Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa, Lot # 73, tombstone #561.
