Faces and Voices of Social Security

"Faces and Voices of Social Security" Campaign on the road!

An Iowa City mother and son show support for Social Security.

Join ICAN in telling our elected officials exactly how important Social Security is to you and your family. We are collecting letters and postcards to Iowa’s congressional delegation demanding that they pledge never to support any proposal to privatize Social Security – and we will put a human face to this campaign by collecting digital photos of the Iowans who demand this protection for Social Security.

Black Hawk Labor Council President Steve Abbott telling fairgoers at the Cattle Congress in Waterloo about the risky Bush plan to privatize Social Security.

ICAN will take digital photos of our members and allies at our public events in the coming months and will also collect online submissions of letters and photos at future@iowacan.org. We will use these images to communicate with elected officials and the media. So send us your digital pictures (children, grandparents, grandkids, etc) to illustrate the faces of the future of Social Security!

An AFSCME member at "Solidarity Fest" in Des Moines telling Sen. Grassley to oppose privitization schemes.

Iowa Farmer's Union President Chris Petersen signs his support in Ankeny at the IFU Convention.

EMAIL US your pictures or message to Senator Grassley to show your support for Social Security.
