Medical Malpractice Laws Make America Safer
Once again, doctors and insurance companies are pointing to the supposed rising costs of malpractice insurance as the biggest problem in our health care system. We fully expect them to begin pushing to cap settlements in cases of medical malpractice and product liability. The fact of the matter is that a small number of doctors are causing the majority of malpractice cases and rising malpractice insurance. The simple solution is to target the few bad doctors out there, not to punish the people who are harmed in such cases.
