may i respectfully direct the perpetrator's attention to a
message i posted just last Monday on the subject of non-standard
link colors and usability.   the subject line is:

    RE: RFF various (was "recent post")

and i think the issues mentioned there apply in this situation
as well.


a brief summary would be:
